I’m Kelly Ormosen, a California Board of Behavioral Sciences Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and also Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I’m a graduate of the University of San Francisco, and have a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology.
I am a mother, a partner, and caretaker to many animals who live with me on my small Placer County farm. I value travel; experiencing the world through different perspectives, advocacy work, and outdoor adventures.

I utilize scientifically backed, time-tested, as well as modern modalities and techniques in my therapeutic services, meeting the specific needs and goals of the individuals, couples and families who come into my office.
I work with couples, families and adults/ youth ages 16+ treating mood, anxiety and adjustment disorders, in addition to work/life balance stress, life-transitions, grief, family role confusion and enmeshment, codependency, gender identify and sexuality issues.
I have additional training in treating trauma, specifically sexual trauma, and Acute/ Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Symptoms.
